accept Leadership Project Award - SEPHLI,
December |
SEPHLI is pleased to announce that our very
own SEPHLI scholars from the 2004-2005 cohort have
won runner-up for the Balderson Leadership
Project Award for their SEPHLI Community Leadership
Project, "Tennessee Epidemiologic Workforce
Capacity Assessment". We would like to take
this opportunity to congratulate the runners-up:
- Mark McCalman, Epidemiologist, Sullivan County
Regional Health Department, Tennessee
- Ami Sklar, Epidemiologist, Jackson-Madison County
Regional Health Department, Tennessee
See the final
project.
Each
year, SEPHLI requires scholars to develop a Community
Leadership Project. Often times, these leadership
projects have impact long after scholars graduate. We
at SEPHLI feel that success has been achieved when
we can inspire and assist public health leaders participating
in our program to go out and make a direct and positive
impact in their communities.
Congratulations to these
outstanding public health leaders!
