Year 10 Scholars Raise Rabies Awareness on
World Rabies Day on September 8, 2007

-- World Rabies Day is September 8 and SEPHLI Scholars
Robert Weedon, DVM and Jean McNeil, DVM are gearing
up to raise awareness of this preventable viral disease
by hosting a World Rabies Day rabies clinic at the
University of North Carolina Wilmington campus. This
clinic is provided free of cost to staff, faculty,
students, and community members and is hosted by the
Pre-Veterinary Medical Association, New Hanover County
Animal Control Services and New Hanover County Health
Department. This rabies awareness initative is a part
of Bob and Jean's SEPHLI leadership project which aims
to increase awareness of rabies disease through community-wide
collaboration and education.
