| Dr. MacDonald and others
associated with Team Epi-Aid were honored
at an award luncheon on April 1, 2005 at
the Carolina Club. Dr.
MacDonald was presented with the Office
of the Provost Public Service Award which
recognizes unit extraordinary public service
at the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. The work of Team Epi-Aid
served as an example of excellence, including
responsiveness to community concerns and
strong community partnerships, and integration
of the service endeavor into the teaching
and/or research missions of the University. |

The
North Carolina Center for Public Health
Preparedness is
the recipient of a 2005 Office of the
Provost/Carolina Center for Public
Service Award, specifically for its
work with Team Epi Aid. Pictured here
