ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- On December 5-8, 2005, SEPHLI held its ninth December Retreat.  In attendance at the Asheville Renaissance Hotel were 42 graduating and 43 incoming SEPHLI scholars, as well as notable presenters:  Dr. Stephanie Bailey, Dr. Rebecca Setliff, Dr. Chris Musselwhite, Claudia Fernandez, Donna Dinkin, Lisa Macon Harrison, and Becky Olson. 

Events held during the retreat:  SEPHLI Leadership Project Awards, as well as Awards for the Best All-Around SEPHLI Scholar, Jane Murray, and the SEPHLI Team Work Award The Bordeaux Bowlers;  a magnificent graduation ceremony with live jazz provided by the University of North Carolina at Asheville; and leadership development sessions including Leadership’s Dirty Little Secret, Symbols of Leadership, Putting It All Together and Making It Work, and Communication in Turbulent Times to name a few.
