  • Dr. Lou Rowitz, author of Public Health Leadership: Putting Principles Into Practice;
  • Dr. David Altman, Executive Vice President of the Center for Creative Leadership;

  • Dr. Ed Baker of the NC Institute of Public Health – all long time public health advocates.

This year, 31 graduating and 20 incoming scholars were in attendance at the four-day leadership retreat.  These outstanding individuals are hand-selected by their states to participate in this 12-month program.  SEPHLI would like to thank the states of Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for their continued support.
