Meet the 2011 Scholars

Marti Wolf, MPH, BA, RN
North Carolina

Marti Wolf, RN, MPH is the Clinical Programs Director with the North Carolina Community Health Center Association where she is responsible for providing training, technical assistance and developing programs and partnerships in clinical areas for Community Health Centers.

Her career spans nearly 30 years and includes in-patient oncology nursing, Oncology nurse manager, staff development, quality management, and program development.

She has presented in national forums on chronic disease management and has published in journals such as JCAHO's Journal on Quality and Safety and AAFP's Practice Management.

She holds a BA in German and Anthropology, an Associate Degree in Nursing with RN licensure and a Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has a husband of 32 years, Jim, a retired Marine, a daughter, 22, who is a senior at ECU and a son, 19 at ECPI in Raleigh. Also at home are 7 cats, a dozen or so goldfish and a betta fish.
