Judy Vallandingham, BS, RS

Judy Vallandingham is a Registered Sanitarian with the West Virginia Board of Registered Sanitarians and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University. Currently, Judy is the General Sanitation Program Manager for West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Public Health, Office of Environmental Health Services, Public Health Sanitation. In this role, Judy oversees five program areas for Public Health Sanitation – General Sanitation Program, Child Care Center Program, Recreational Water Facilities Program, Mobile Home Park Program, Tattoo and Body Piercing Program.
Prior positions held by Judy include District Sanitarian for West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Public Health, Office of Environmental Health Services, Public Health Sanitation, and Sanitarian for Beckley-Raleigh County Health Department.
Judy began her career in Public Health in 1991 and has found it very rewarding and challenging. Prior to her career in Public Health, Judy worked at a center for mentally retarded and developmentally delayed adults.
Judy has one daughter, Jennifer who is a sophomore at Marshall University. Judy is a volunteer coach for the junior varsity volleyball team at Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, WV and is a West Virginia Secondary Schools Activity Commission certified Volleyball Official.
