Sherif Ibrahim currently works for the state of West Virginia as a Regional Epidemiologist Liaison and an Outbreak Epidemiologist. His main duties are to provide guidance, direction and leadership to the state 8 regional epidemiologists. Before that, Sherif worked as a Regional Epidemiologist in the state of West Virginia.

Sherif completed his medical school in the faculty of Medicine Mansoura University Egypt.
Before becoming Epidemiologist, he practiced medicine in Egypt and completed at internship in Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, NY. Sherif received his MPH degree from Drexel University School of Public Health, Philadelphia, PA in 2007.
