Kimberly Hawkins, MS

Kim Hawkins is the quality assurance coordinator for the Division of Immunization Services, Bureau for Public Health, within the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. Ms. Hawkins’ primary focus is working with providers throughout the state, to assure compliance with the regulations for the federal Vaccines for Children Program.

Since the H1N1 pandemic, Ms. Hawkins has been working with a specialized team of health professionals across organizations to coordinate efforts regarding vaccine distribution, delivery and safety.

With over eight years in the health care arena, she came to the Division of Immunization Services from American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM). While there she served as safety and wellness coordinator planning and organizing all safety and wellness efforts for 1000 employees in 11 nursing and rehabilitation facilities located throughout the state.

Prior to AMFM, Ms. Hawkins’ worked at Partners in Corporate Health, Inc. (PCH) where she worked as the director of Health Screen and Assessment services overseeing the delivery of health screen services to more than 400 sites for a variety of clients. While there she also enjoyed organizing fun activities for PCH employees, planning employee retreats and serving as team captain for the annual Corporate Cup events.

Kim holds a Master of Science Degree in Community Health Education from West Virginia University. She is truly a West Virginia girl and enjoys taking in the beautiful sites spending time outdoors white water rafting and hiking throughout the state.
